Well I believe there are a few Aussies here (and there might even be some kiwis). As some of you may know one of the admins of OceaniaUT (http://oceaniaut.com/), ZerO*KooL regularly hosts some Awesome LANs, and on Anzac weekend (23-24 April 2005) he'll be hosting yet another.
This one, same as the last 3 will be in Collingwood, Melbourne, Australia (if you don't know where Aus is then I don't think you can come).
It will be mostly devoted to playing Unreal Series games but others are allowed (except Counter Strike) the only catch in this case, is that they must start their own servers as organisers of LANzac '05 will only provide servers for the competitive tourneys and a couple of free-for-all instances.
And if your into tournaments 3 will be run, UT99 CTF Instagib, UT2004 Onslaught, & UT2004 DM 1v1. Respected players and Admin will select team captains and they in turn select team members one by one. This is hoped to balance out the sides and create a more enjoyable playing arena.
You can't register until the webpage is up but there are already some forums (http://oceaniaut.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=58) set up where you may ask any questions you have.
Cost is (or at least was last time) $40 for both days (this is needed if you want to be in a comp), or $25 for a single day.
So anyone who has read this far should at least pencil it in their diaries (the dates were 23-24 April 2005).
I think Lord_Simeon went to last years so he might pop in and say what it was like, but I would strongly recommend that if you can come, do.
Note: I am not an admin of LANzac '05 in anyway, I'm just spreading the word.
