Anyone watch teh HBO series Carnivale?

My wife and I have been watching this since it came out. This is a truely screwed up show. Very interesting, but screwed UP! Does any one else watch it? What do you think of it?

I watched the whole first season.

There was discussion about it here (http://www.unrealplayground.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16662).

The general opinion was that it was odd for oddity's sake. I sat through 13 episodes of that crap, for no pay-off whatsoever. I knew as much on the last episode as I did the first day, and was left with a crappy cliff-hanger to boot.

I'd ask if that Sophie chick survived the fire, but honestly I couldn't care less. 13 hours of my time that could have been used on something productive, like randomly killing the same **** over and over in an MMORPG.

i tried but then i said to myself : "self, you already watch the Sopranos & 6 feet under ritually, why add another 1"


i thought to myself after that conversation and agreed that i am right.

I like this show. Far better than the last two seasons of Sopranos.

i think this season has been alot better than last. last season had alot of promise after the first episode and then kinda died out and got monotonous and boring til the end, but so far i'm finding myself pretty into what's going on through the first 3 episodes of the second season. i like how there's more emphasis on evil justin and wussy ben hawkins than the soap opera style of the last. hopefully it'll last. so far so good imo.
