trying to set an good music file....but it seems i cant get it
to be a good quality without it being huge (5 times bigger then the map file)...i guess i will
have to do a 30 sec loop...damn...i prefer a whole song
any suggestions

If you are converting mp3 to s3m or some mod format and then downsampling to make the file smaller then you will lose sound quality for sure. Maybe Ghandi has a way to keep sound quality high ;) . If you want good sounding music then you could find a mod music site that lets u use their music for free, and the sound quality will be very good. Or even better - get a tracking program and make your own music :)

i guess i will have to ask myself if i can use my own songs..lol
working on the bot pathing now....(as usual the bots are idiots..
but they use all the elevators and the tram now
will work on the music last...very irritating that

a little frameout up top...but livable...
problem still with the music file
it now goes back to the beginning about 30 seconds into the song
is there some secret setting...hmmm

Look at the file in Modplug. See where the song is repeating. Its possible UMX does not recognize some of the codes from .s3m file. If u use a code to repeat a pattern, try inserting the pattern again without using a code to repeat it. :dunno: Assuming u are tracking the music of course :dunno:
