Okay, the one thing that always annoys me is losing the corsshair as I then have to eyeball my aiming, which is rarely precise. UT 2004 simply refuses to blend the crosshair in any other method than translucent (additive color.) I KNOW that in UT 2003 I could make the crosshair opaque, if I wanted to. Does anyone know how, if possible, to do this in UT 2004 becuase I'm always losing the light colored crosshair as it blends in with the light colored fog.

IIRC, you could change all the settings of the crosshairs in the Settings-Weapons tab (color, opacity, size and type of crosshair).
I suggest you get a crosshair pack like K-Aus (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=418428). Then you can choose crosshairs in 2 colors (black and a custom one), so it's always clear where you're aiming for

Hmm -- it appears UT 2004 had been acting glitchy. "Black" simply was completely invisible against everything at that point. Now it acts normal. I set it to a dark purple (100 blue and red) and switched the crosshair to Bracket 2. That's a lot more visible.
