theres sumthin about watching requiem for a dream's final sequence of events with your Mother in Law (epecially the AZZ 2 AZZ part) that is quite unsettling. I did this last night and couldn't bear the look of utter unblinking disgust and intrigue at the same time. :weird:

Its a very disturbing film.

I watched "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" today, thinking this should be smart and funny. Throw "disturbing" in there after watching it. Don't watch with GF.

Disturbing= Good.

Never heard of Requiem, though I believe I've read a book by that name.

I simply MUST see sunshine soon. I'll tell her it's a chick flick right slothy?

Don't watch it with her! Unless you are totally and completley secure about your relationship. I'm not secure about anything.

D.A.R.E. couldn't have written better Anti-Drug propaganda. The movie starts out fairly enough. I think it does a good job of capturing the malaise of drug use. But then the movie turns on a plot point, that they can't find smack in New York City. And it's all downhill form there. Pure, unfettered, drug propaganda.

I like to sometimes say "I wanna see Ass To Ass!", randomly.

Don't get me started on the movie Traffic.

I loved Enternal Sunshine. I don't think it's so bad to watch with the girlfriend. I think the movie is very sweet, if it can be uncomfortable to watch the first hour. I think Kate Winslet deserves an Oscar nod in that movie.

"Dining Dead". A classic line. I've certainly felt that way.

Notice in the movie "Traffic" that each "plot" had a different screen color. Benicio was yellowish. Douglas was bluish. I forget the other one. Maybe I'm just nuts.

Probably the best 'addiction' movie I've ever seen was the one with Michael Keaton. Clean and Sober I think it was called?

Then there was the one with Val Kilmer which was OK. It also had Vincent D'onofrio. Can't remember the name though. The Salton Sea? Yeah that's it. Some ridiculous examples of tweaks at the beginning, and the ending was not really too good, but the rest of it was pretty decent.
