Hi everyone i've been working with Maya for about 5 months now just trying to learn it, and i really would like a link to a tutorial for modelling a female character so if anyone could give me a link to this that would be greatly apreciated thanks

Okay, just kidding.
There's a sticky thread somewhere in this subforum that points to good Maya tuts/sites.

I think some of the links include:

highend3d.com
CGTalk.com (another forum, but all crazy bizzy)
and others.

Look for it. Most of those sites have tutorials, many have female characters, you can download somewhere. (or links thereto) My advice, if you can't find exactly what you want, is to take a similar finished Maya model and study it.

Most likely, male character modeling tut's can be adapted to your needs.

Hey thanks guys for the links i needed them maybe now i can down to some serious modelling and maybe if there good enough you see them in UT2k4 by downloading them umm this doesn't have anything to do with 3d Modeling guys but thanks anyway.

Please follow my suggestions to get you closer to a female character model
than the stadard male shown in just about every player character tutorial.
