:) Hi, Guys! I'm a new here. And I'm very fond of map design.
I want to entre the game design field in the future. I'm still in university.
And during the part time, I am making my new map, either. It include new TEX, new model, and new visual elements.
Does one can find a job in the game field by level design or mod design?
Who can give me some advise?
Thanks.

Yes it is possible, but it is a highly competitive field with a lot of very talented people trying to get a foothold in the industry. If it's something you truly want to do, just keep honing your skills and practicing and perfecting. Get your maps circulated through the community (at sites like ours, and others.) The more people who play your map, the more people will know your name. This is a very good thing :)
I'll let some of the real mapper type folks give you a little more advice, but the short answer is yes...if you work hard enough and you have enough talent, you can. But it's very not something everyone can do.
