I just saw this movie and i was very disapointed in it, usualy Will Smith movies are good but i didnt care for this one. This is a good movie to go and see if you like plot and story (or just slow movies in general, because it was slow).IMO you should not go see this movie in theaters, but just simply rent it when it is available to rent.

really? that sux.
I liked it. I thought the designs, (Sets, robots, etc) were pretty cool. They Had sort of a retro-futurish feel to it.
The movie was predictable as hell though.
It certainly wasn't will smith's best work but imo worth the matinee price.

my only complaint is that when the robots go 'evil' suddenly they glow red.

What moron programmed that and didnt see this coming? :p

It's actually when they go online. Make me want to read some more of the Foundation series.

The plot is OK-ish, effect is a pass, Will Smith is good, but if you read Asimov's works then its a must-see.

I just saw it. I have to say it was interesting. It's strange when you see the 3d renders of the huge futuristic buildings which are buildable in todays standards but there are very few. :moreconf: Even the Audi is buildable, even tho it might not have the cool doors, or self driving capabilities, and would be specifically for rich ppl, but its sad that technology doesn't develope as fast as vid cards do lol

I saw it in Calgary... the special effects were pretty seamless, I thought... the robots were amazing. The whole movie struck me as very good... the plot was clever, the pacing was well-done, the acting was pretty good as well. The only thing that bugged me was Will Smith... he was great as Spooner, but when he delivered a one-liner, he was Will Smith, completely out of character... it pulled me out of the movie every time. Other than that, though, I thought it was excellent.

By the way... wasn't Natalie Portman in the early trailers for this movie? Did they kick her out or something?
