from ananova ... A US airline passenger drove a baggage tractor on to a runway while wearing only a pair of pyjama bottoms.

Police in Atlanta, Georgia, said 31-year-old said Robert Buzzell managed to open an alarmed exit door at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Reports said an alarm went off when he opened the door, but there was no security staff in the area at the time.

No flights were affected by the early morning incident.

Buzzell was caught after airport employees stopped him on the tractor and asked to see an employee ID card.

When he was unable to produce the ID, he was escorted to an office and police were called.

Authorities said Buzzell, who had a ticket for a Delta flight, appeared to be mentally unstable. He's been arrested on charges of unlawful interference with security, theft and reckless conduct.
