How can i install and paly mods?

It may sounds crazy but i dont know what to do! I already have checkmate 0,8 and the time im going to put the files into the right folders the system says that there is already another file with the same name. Which is the right way to do it???? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dunno:

i have a iMac. I have downloaded the 'UT2k4 launcher factory' and created a launcher but the mod still does not appear in comunity/mods. What do i do?

Doesn't the file have a really unreal like logo ?

Otherwise i can tell you how to make setup.exe in the UT2004 system folder to reconise the file and install it.

Im a Mac user.. (2x2GhzG5 running Panther) First if you're on an iMac, I would think UT2k4 would be really taxing on it, I hope you've got a GREAT 3D card.

Re Mods & Maps.
You want the non-Umod versions of maps and mods.

Find the application icon in the finder and right-click ([apple]+click) and choose "Show package contents" from the pulldown.

In the new finder window that opens, you'll see all the folders that make up UT2k4.

Open the folder for the mod or map, put the enclosed files into their appropriate folders following the nearly _always_ included readme's instructions.

Not difficult. Hope that helps. Play more Onslaught.
