Ultimate Survival is back! Along with a new site, UMS 2.0 is here to bring more paintball and this time is even more realistic than the original UMS!
After the first beta for UT2003 we got to work to fix reported bugs and implement suggestions. Now after nearly 6 months of reconstruction it has been completely revamped and completely compatible with UT2004! About 90% of the code was completely redone and new features have made the action even better!
Here are some of the features of UMS 2.0:
- 4 paintball markers, including new skins and each one has a hopper and tank on it!
- Grenades return with an all new throwing animation!
- On screen air gauge
- Go back to base and refill up on ammo and air with new refill stations that only your team can use or use universal refill stations that everyone can use!
- Respawn delay.
- All new sprint feature and the return of lean!
- New weapon animations!
- A new gametype called Defend the Flag or DTF where one team defends the flag and the other tries to capture it. Scoring occurs if the flag is captured or the flag is defended for the complete round time. After each round the teams change positions.
- Returning Gametypes:
-- Survival (DM)
-- Team Survival (TDM)
-- CTF
-- and a extra option for Center flag CTF that Creates completely different gameplay!
- 4 new mutators including:
-- [UMS] Classic: removes anything that doesn't belong in a 'classic' paintball game.
-- [UMS] Overkill: Adds overkill weapons to the game, like a minigun, and nuke balls.
-- [UMS] sniper: adds a sniper rifle to the game
-- [UMS] The Man with the Golden Balls: 1 person shoots golden balls, they have 100% accuracy, and a faster shot rate, when that person is killed the killer gets golden balls.
- New buying system that allows you to upgrade barrel, balls, tank, and electronics
- 17 maps, new and previous maps improved!
- New HUD
- New animations
