I read the article in USA Weekend two weekends ago, I believe. It stated that cicadasa (a.k.a. kattydids) taste akin to asparagus, but not fresh asparagus; more like canned asparagus. Yeah, um, sure. I, for one, will not be hunting these buggers down to consume.

By the way, this 'brood x' is puportedly going to be of deafening loudness in areas. They are otherwise totally harmless creatures.
