I don't know about the laws in Canada but in the US , under 18 is still illegal. I think girls as young as 16 can get married with parental consent but other than that if your a guy over 21 with a girl under 18 UR SCREWWDDD!

A very close friend of mine moved to Virginia and in less than a year he got convicted of Stachatory Rape (girl was well under 18) because him and his girl liked to fool around and "SWING" a little. Turned out the girl was younger than was thought, told a friend who told her parents and now he's doing 5 in Vir. State Max PEn.

This dude who posted his 17 girl on teh internet is just plain stupid and plaeding guilty is even dumber because he is now blacklisted for the rest of his life as a sex offender! I would have fought that charge for years if i had to . Although i wouldn't be dumb enough to do that in the first place! :hammer:

Camera phones are becoming a big problem it seems. I still want one! :p

The legal consent age up here in Canada is 14 for sex. Everything else is 18--including adult photographs etc. Even if she gave her consent for the stuff to be posted, it wouldn't matter.

So what your saying is a 45 yr old man can have consentual sex with a 14 yr old girl and its ok?!?!? Not for nothing but i find thats kindsadisgusting and sick! Shes a damn baby for cryin out loud?!?!?! Maybe its just me , because i have a 16 year old sister but i am not Feelin that law at all! :hammer:

No, that's not what I'm saying. It's what the law says. Here's a lil blurb...

"The Criminal Code does not now criminalize consensual sexual activity with or between persons 14 or over, unless it takes place in a relationship of trust or dependency, in which case sexual activity with persons over 14 but under 18 can constitute an offence, notwithstanding their consent. Even consensual activity with those under 14 but over 12 may not be an offence if the accused is under 16 and less than two years older than the complainant. The exception, of course, is anal intercourse, to which unmarried persons under 18 cannot legally consent, although both the Ontario Court of Appeal(3) and the Quebec Court of Appeal(4) have struck down the relevant section of the Criminal Code."

As for the 45 year old man thingy, that's not what I was getting at. In regards to the article that Radio showed us, they were still considered "kids" and within a close age range to each other. The 45 year old man thingy is a perfect example of someone who should be *CENSORED BY AIRLEA*.

all in all, i think the canadian laws regarding sex are pretty reasonable.

I was using an exagerated example but considering the stated law it is still applicable. Being young and stupid is FUN especially when it involves sex but with ramifications like this (being a convicted sex offender at 21 for takin snappies of ur GF azz) i'd think twice!
