Great games last night! Although I didn't get to play in 433, McSwartzly was a blast... your defense on it was tough! Thanks for being cool about switching out K-Lined, we were looking forward to playing that one too. The problem turned out to be a missing texture on the server. Anyway, it was lots of fun (including the scrim afterwards) and we should do it again soon!

Roger that. Was fun even though we lost. You guys had some VERY solid teamwork/cover on 433, I was very impressed. Yeah, would have preferred Klined, but mc****ty wasn't as bad as it normally is.

Would have liked to play the lucius map, but I didn't want to play it with only half our players and on a weird version.

Yeah, didn't want to sound like a little bitch or anything... I really only have fun playing ladder maps with my guys. I was still going to play, but didn't want to play a version of lucius I had never seen before. I'd just rather do something else :)

You guys were damn solid though, your team cover was what crushed us... that and the total ownage of the powerups on 433 :) I saw way too man sb's and deemers coming at me on defense... scarey :hammer:

Actually, we loaded up the regular version of Lucius within 5 mins after you guys left and that's what we played. Ended up being fun (well, as fun as Lucius is). hehe :D

Yeah, would you expect anything less from him though? His posts were always long, and very layered with subtle opinions.

First match was on McSwartzly, ended 2-0 UMH

I remember that they ran two guys in the flag room, which was weird but hard for me to beat. Eventually GS started coming into the flag room and DMing them to help me get out, and then covering my escapes, or grabbing himself, which worked well. They also had a lot of traffic in their flag room thanks to Moot, Fro and GS wtfpwning the mid. So that complicated things on offense a little more. But, we were getting out pretty well and it was just a matter of time before we capped. They also were dropping their O back quite a bit to help out when I made grabs, and they did a decent job cutting off my escapes most of the time.

Second map was 433-LE, which PTE specialized in.

UMH won 6-2

Creeper: Topside
Chong (aka svtnos): Flag D
Vintage: Flag D
GS: Offense
Boldar: O Support/Mid

They had a really hard time getting out of our base with the flag, but once they got out they were able to run around very effectively to keep away from our chasers. A lot of it was solo stuff though, much like running O in a pub, but on a map like this you can get away with that because of the elevators and various flag running tricks that can be executed on this map.

However, with Vintage and Chong on the flag and Creeper sealing up the top, they didn't get out much. Plus with GS and Boldar running O, we were putting a lot of pressure on their D, so their O support kept dropping back, which slowed down their offense.

A few highlights regarding McSwartzly...

They only got out of the flag room a total of 3 times (2 of them because I got a little carried away trying to help get GoW through mid and had left the flag room - whoops :P). The weird thing about it was that 2 of those 3 times, they made it all the way back into their base, which was odd. But we won both stand-offs, so at least we recovered well.

I think this happened because our mid guys would vacate the middle while covering our FC. Especailly during our water cap where it seemed like everyone was in the water covering as I swam from their water hole to ours. Heh, that cap was pretty sweet though... I killed two of their guys with the goo-gun in the water tunnel. I got two more in the water and I had some kick arse coverage too boot.

ggs had fun at the xball practice last weekend dynasty, one of the best ive had. hopefully we will be able to do it again, but next time give us more JT stuff :
