Warning, this might have spoilers.
I just finished Call of Duty today, and I was wondering what you guys liked better, being part of the Russians or Americans. To me the Russain campaign was the best. From the part of being on the boat, and seeing the officers shoot people as they abandoned ship while plains flew over dropping bombs on surrounding ships and bombarding them with fire, to the part where you raise the flag at Berlin, it was some of the best gameplay ever. Rushing up on the hill with all the men around you was possibly the best part of the game, screw gamespy saying the best level was the bridge. That was like playing Face on UT with easy bots on, it was fun for a bit then it just got boaring. Having to run across the hill with machine guns bearly missing you while your partner snipes them out was just great, and then having to kill the officers while you run for cover.
The taking of Red Square(I think thats what its called)was also magnificent. I love the beginning when the officer slaughters all the retreaters with a machine gun. And then running on top of the roof top to raise the flag, a patriotic song played in the backround and I couldn't help but feel like I was apart of something, that I actually did something. Not just sat on my ass and played a game. I never felt like that in any other game. (Max Payne kinda sucked me in like that too)
Now hopefully when I get internet back in my room I can start playing online. Just my 2 cents on this wonderful game.
