arent they just brilliant? i saw them live in the summer and got their "best of" album "In Time" for my mother's xmas.
however, its missing Shiny Happy People!
i'm not impressed :rolleyes:

When I was I kid I saw my first REM show at this little place in Charlotte, NC called the Milestone Club.
This was in 1982, a few months before their first EP "Chronic Town" came out.
I still love the early stuff (Reckoning, Fables Of The Reconstruction, Document) and the later stuff is great too (UP, Hi-Fi, Monster).
Great band.

i got into them cos my mum likes them. when i was younger she had Monster, and she got Automatic For The People too. looks like i have stolen her present tho, cos i like it so much. lmao merry xmas! :evil:

I use to love that band a long time ago , but every album ( started with the green cd ) sounds the same :( i never heard a band stop trying and just sticking to a forumla .
