I know many of the that don't know anything bout the XMP mapping can gain experience.
Such as myself.
So maybe we can organize a little mappack or a little contest for it?

I don't know how to make such maps, but i can give it spin.
Same for you guys out there.
Just figuring out that faq :weird:
i'm on. i've started on a map, XMP-SpeedRun. ok so it'll probably gonna end out like crap, but it's my first attempt, and i've still havent got the hang of the editor

i got the terrain builder working
just dont know what size i need to make a level like those in the game already
well i cheated, i opened xmp-garden, deleted everything except the terrain and started from there.
it was the only way i got the texture-painting on the terrain to work :S

I've just made some tests...
Substracted a room and planted down a few things.
4 red energy generators, 2 vehicles, 1 red deploypoint, 1 artifact thingie(red).
When i test it i die when i get revived and my vehicles explode from the moment they spawn :angst:
sounds fun, i only get an error message when i try to run the map...might need some more stuff in it..maybe :dunno:

The things you certainly need,
A deploypoint, artifact node, energysource, loader.
Or something like that

lol yeah i guess
anyone care to teach me the paint option for terrain?
you know how to use the one in ut2003?
it's basically the same thing, just that in zmp you dont have to mess around with the alpha. just choose a texture and use the paint tool
