-- SPOILERS AHEAD --

Anyone finished it too? It was kinda short actually, i finished it in like 3 days (playing 4-6 hours a day).

Well, i don't know what to say. I feel......
Sad, a bit. For Max Payne and for Mona Sax. Oh and for Vinnie Gognitti. Poor guy, i was just starting to like him, especially when he was screaming for help while being stuck in the Captain BaseballBat Boy Costume.

Such great shoot-outs.... This game really got my adrenaline pumpin while i was emptying my two ingrams on 4 commandos clustering together in a van. Not to mention those great physics. UT2003's karma is NOTHING if you compare it to MP 2's Havoc techniques.

Anyway, i'm looking forward to part 3. I currently can't really describe the feeling that has me. How did other people experience this game?

Brilliant game.
Max really copped a raw deal again (will he ever find love that lasts?)
Mono Sax was a good inclusion from the first game, and she has more of a human side this time around, rather than just a stone cold killer type.
And yeah, poor Vince. Ironic that he gets strapped in his "captain baseball bat boy" custome.
His apartment was prett funny, with all the merchandise laying around....lol.
Another great part, was Mono Sax's hideout/home. Now THAT was a bizzare level, with the cutout cars and people, and weird sound effects.
That Vladimir was real back stabbing SOB in the end. After all the help Max has given him in the past, the ending was very sad.

All in all, too short, but the cinematics were great (aswith the first) and the story had me hooked from start to finish. Can't wait for part 3 either, or some user made stroy maps. Gonna have to search on the net, the film clip released a while back "Max Payne - Hero" has nothing to do with "The fall of Max Payne" so maybe it's a different game altogether?

i can not name one thing i would want to be different with that game other than the length, and i always have a million things i want changed with a game.

one of the best there has been for years

hopefully this example will be followed by other developers as far as how good story and characters can make a game. it's one of those games that you dont mind dying and playing the same bits over and over again, it never gets frustrating, because its so much fun. im playing it through again for the second time just now =)

I don't there's ever been a game with so much character... I sat listening to the janitor singing for ages. It's just good solid fun...

I loved every aspect of the game..the graphics were awesome, the bullet time incredible and the story great. Sure, it was a little short, but the game was just sooooooo cool.

With respect to the janitor's song - it's Late Goodbye by Poets of the Fall ( http://www.poetsofthefall.com/ ) ; it plays during the credits and is mentioned / hummed several times in the game. I need to play through again because only after beating it did I get hooked on the song and noticed it when I played a bit again.

Yeah, that game was awesome. I agree with it being very short. I remember playing the first one for weeks, and this one only took me two days. But, it was some of the best two days I've had in a long while. I was glad to see that the "dreamy" levels where a lot easier than the ones in the first one. It took me like 1/2 an hour to get out of the hallway part in the first one, but I love how those levels add to the game.
Big props to rock Star for completing yet another fine game. I will be picking up Man Hunt soon, maybe when it costs 10 or 20 bucks less, which also looks like a great rock star game. I also can't wait for a third Max Payne, hopefully this one won't get beaten in two days.

If you add -developerkeys to a MaxPayne2.exe shortcut or command line, you can use the PageUp and PageDown keys in game to change Max into other character models. I post this info only because I'm sure you all want to try playing as a cleaner and aren't at all interested in that other model. :)

Cheers,
