KOTOR has gone gold for PC and will be available in retail on November 18th. This game has been available on Xbox since earlier this year. It got high marks on the X-box, and I can't wait to buy it, and let it sit uninstalled for 4 monthes, while I finally get around to playing Temple of Elemental Evil.
It can sit next to such unplayed games as: Half-Life, Fallout 2, Baldur's Gate I, Divine Divinity, Republic: The Revolution.

Cool, is it available for the PS2? Cause I have one and it would go good with my Half-life, Castle Wolfenstein, Nascar 2003, Soul Calibur and Final Fantasy X, none of which I've played. Baldur's Gate was cool. I actually played that game. At my GF's house though. Gosh its fun buying video games.

No. Won't be.
Played BG2 to death, but never played BG1. I might have to take a character all the way through.

don't let it sit unplayed freshie, i think you will really enjoy it. :)
And oh yeah, kind of on the same topic, the first confirmed jedi was made on Star Wars galaxies the other day...you have to do a bunch of stuff in that game to unlock your "force sensitive" skill set. i just thought it was cool to see the first person do that...

Not to counter-point you or anything, babe.
BUT, I heard from a reliable source that works at sony who got an interview from one of the developers (just remember this is hear-say) that you can only go to about 99% completed force sensitive slot and that your performance is reviewed (Quote-unquote) "By the Jedi or Sith counsole" and then they unlock the force sensitive slot for you"
If you read what he did to do all of that he spent alot of time playing the game since it's release. He didn't know what really to do after he acquired the holocubes (along with the empty one) and then he did a couple of non-sense things and then killed a mob and bam (I'm a Jedi). BULL$h!t.
This goes to show you that they favor people that play with an unbelievable amount of time and dedication. WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE that pay the same damn amount as "Capt. No-life" but have a career to maintain? Do we not have the same dedication? Do we not have the same commitment?
Tell me that crap.

That's why I'm getting KOTOR and avoiding Galaxies. The path to the Dark Side is much quicker (and more seductive :)).

Bioware has acknowledged issues with i845 and i850 chipsets. I happen to have a i845 chipset. Will wait until they fix this. Heck I'll work on ToEE for awhile and wait for it to become available for $29.99 on gogamer.com.
