How can you do this?!?! If I get this game I'll never be able to get away from my computer again. I loved MOH.

Seriously the game looks fantastic. But I just know I'd get addicted to it and... and is that really a bad thing? I mean I don't really need to shower if I'm stuck in front of my computer and no one ever sees me... hmmm.....

Dang it now I'm gonna have to sell some stuff and buy the game!

gotta talk about this game some more. if you are into realistic mapping, this game is the shiznit. the levels are so well crafted, its truly amazing and inspiring. the thing that I love most about the levels are the distance objects and the feeling that you are in a real place. with ut maps you feel like you are in a cave beacuse its kinda hard to get skyboxes looking good. but with this game the distance views blend perfectly with the enviornments and really gives you the sence of being there. they really took a lot of time on each map. the official site has a level editor link. but its only says coming soon. wonder how their editor will be.

Its actually what I hoped 2k3 would be more like. gritty, hardcore realistic levels. but with the limitless possibilities you get with Unreal. I think half life will have more of this type of feeling. maybe 2k4 will too. that would be sweet.

babbling at 4 in the morn.

all the maps are great. really liked this one for some reason. real open. snow enviornment. really like the tire track textures and just the way the whole map is layed out. would make a great deathmatch level.

I was gonna buy it this weekend then my wife hinted that I might be getting it for Christmas so I have to wait! :p

I wanna map for it but it uses a variant of the Q3 engine :loopy:

lol, i suppose the demo levels were actually the worst? The rest of the game must be greeeeat.

Stalingrade, something like this?

"THE ONE WITH THE RIFLE SHOOTS, THE ONE WITH THE AMMO FOLLOWS. IF THE ONE WITH THE RIFLE DIES, THE ONE WITH THE AMMO PICKS UP THE RIFLE AND SHOOTS!"

Gonna buy this game as soon as possible..

No mapping though, cant be bothered trying to learn...*shudder*...radiant

shame there's no WW2 mods for 2k3...

Hm, actually... Red Orchestra is a WW2 mod, isn't it? Supposedly pretty good, though I haven't tried it myself.

I have the demo on a CD, but my good computer just got shut off for one or two days while my dad works on the desk... it'll be pretty cool when he finishes it; the comp'll be sitting in the corner of an "L" desk now, with a groove cut for it. More mouse-space! :D

I'll post pics or something when it's complete.

I'll probably pick this up around christmas as well unless something else amazing comes out :D. Looks like a solid game and pretty good use of the Quake3 tech

ooh my dads got a desk like that, 'sept its 2 rectangular desks joined together. Has Muchas space for scanners, printers etc. He just bought a disgustingly large monitor and some crazy cordless mouse too.

i really wanna buy this game. i played the two demos and i was impressed. if my pc fits the specs well enough ill get it for my next UT break.
its those screens with like 50 dudes on them im worried about most . . . anyone know the max server capacity is going to be?
i want to have a look at the new prince of persia too . . . ive never played any in the series but it looks pretty nasty

looks like a good game

what is better tho: halo or this game?

Sinnical
11-16-2003, 12:19 AM
i would put this one over halo from what ive played. i couldn't get into halo at all for some reason. if you want something really intense then Call of Duty imo is the way to go . . . but then again ive not played a whole lot of either game so i could be wrong

Saying the multiplayer rocks .....doesn't do the multiplay justice....it.
ROCKS!..WITH BELLS ON! I cannot stop playing it...if you think the main game is intense!...try playing team DM.with 45 players
I have to stop after an hour because my nerves have gone to hell....it's the most intense and exhilarating! experience I have had playing ANY! game ever........BUY! this game or miss out BIG Time
