I just found this little gem lying on my floor in amongst other books that I'd bought real cheap from some garage sale my dad's company had. It looked kind of intriguing, so I read the back:

"A MILES-LONG SPACESHIP ON A JOURNEY BETWEEN THE STARS! After establishing communications with the sentient dinosaurs aboard the gigantic alien warship Dragonstar, the human exploration forces were ready to reveal their accomplishments to an eager public."

So far, so good... sounds like an interesting science fiction novel...

"THEN DISASTER STRUCK."

Cool. :)

"During a live holovision broadcast, something made the co-operative Saurians go berserk- and begin slaughtering and eating their former friends."

Oh, very cool! Futuristic technology meets rampaging dinosaurs! Sounds like fun.

"At the same moment the Dragonstar's access hatches closed down, imprisoning all aboard. Then, for the first time in centuries, the engines started up..."

All in all, it sounded like an entertaining piece of science-fiction adventure. So far it is, and I'll keep you posted. I'm a good seventy pages in, and I'm loving it. :D

Well, I finished the book... overall it was alright, but the thing ends on a cliffhanger note. Now I have to find the last book of the series. Unfortunately, very few people were violently devoured by dinosaurs, and they were mostly "redshirts". Disappointing... :blah:

I must say, though, that the events at the very end of the book are intriguing...

Since it's Sci-Fi/Fantasy does it has cross breeding in it yet? :D

Just kidding...the best books are Sci-Fi/Fantsay. I already live in the real world, why read about it

Amen! :D

Oh, and by 'redshirts', I'm referring to Star Trek's infamous redshirts. ;)
