Asked for his opinion on "St. Anger", Anselmo said, "Honestly I haven't heard the record. I've seen the live video. Really, no comment."
LOL! Honestly I don't really care for Superjoint Ritual, it's too bad he didn't focus on Down instead.

Yup... I agree. Super Joint Ritual wouldn't really give Metallica much of a run for their money. Down sure as hell would though, that's a kick ass band.

It is lame that Metallica is bringing bands out on tour like Lame Bizcut and Stinkin Park. They already have a huge fan base of clueless little wanna-be-metal kiddies. I'm going to the show the weekend after next at the LA Coliseum. I'll be walking around the stadium checking out the scenery while those 2 bands are playing... for sure.

At least they're bringing Mudvayne http://www.jeffpylenz.com/INCREDIMAIL%20VOL.2/DAILY/rockwoot.gif and the Deftones. But there should be some more bands on the line up that could use the publicity and exposure to a large group of metal fans. But this is bound to happen when bands start catering to record label executives.

btw - heres a fan's review of Saturday's Chicago concert :D July 27, 2003

Chicago , IL
July 26, 2003 Hawthorne Racecourse.. In front of a crowd of 44000 people, I was fortunate enough to stick through 9 hours of pushing, heat, and overcrowding Metallica fans and make my way up to the front and center of all those people to witness an amazing 3 hour performance by Metallica. They played a variety of songs off there 8 studio albums, except for Load. Opening up with Battery, endinding with Sandman, and throwing in deep cuts like No Remorse and Harvestor of Sarrow, Metallica was loud, energetic, fast, and very happy to be playing for their Chicago fan base. Even though I've been listening to Metallica for 10 years now, this was my first time seeing them, and I must say it was well worth the standing around waiting from 1:00 p.m. untill they came on stage at 9:15 p.m. They truely put on a great performance. Metallica was supported by Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, and Mudvayne. The crowd was positive to Linkin Park and Mudvayne's performance, and indifferent to the deftones. On the other hand, the crowd was very negative and aggressive towards Limp Bizkit by throwing many articles on stage hitting frontman Fred Durst, who reacted to the crowd yelling offensive language at them and shooting a 12 guage shot gun in the air. Fred Durst could not take the lemons and water bottles being thrown at him, thus after only playing for 30 min, an unusual short time for Limp Bizkit, he walked off stage to the crowd's content.

bwa ha ha ha ha
I used to like Limp Bizcit, but Fred just ruins it.
He was part of the reaason an Aussie girl was killed here at a concert a few years back now, inciting the crowd into a frenzy.
Of course, he denies it, but i've seen the concert footage :GUILTY.

The Met concert sounded like a blast. Battery....mmmm.Love that song.
I can see why they left off load.....lol.
Would have been funny at their san quentin concert in front of all the bad ass lifers to see them play songs off load. *riot*

A friend of mine - who went to the concert , said that everything went south for Fred when he "sang " a new song for the up coming cd ...he said - the song was one of those self serving songs about how he ( fred ) " wants just to die cause life is too evil for him to live in it " and that " nothing you say will stop him from killing himself " he said the killing myself part was when he started whispering the lyics and the music got turned down so all you heard was him saying " cant save me , you cant save me.....i cant even save myself -it was at this point the crowd starts to laugh and snicker ...somebody yells then F%$#K kill aready you A%$HOLE and someone else yell for him to put a gun in his mouth and save everybody the pain of his puss boy lyics .....it was when fred remarked back ' F^%%Kin Chicago FA*(&00it ....F*&*K - U !! that the ( overpriced ) bottle water and lemons ( of all things ) started flyin toward sensitive freddy D .............btw on a sad note ..i heard that the lead singer of the DEFTONES is in the hospital ....Chicago might have been their last gig...they might have to cancel the rest of the tour -dont know ...i hope not :(

LOL... Didn't Stabbing Westward already do that song!? Fred is so lame. I'll be sure to bring plenty of lemons to the LA show.

Hmmm... hope not I was really looking forward to seeing them. One of the few bands I really like that I've never had a chance to see. It would suck.

Just found this on their website. Looks like just 1 show was canceled.

Illness July 28th |

Chino last night came down with a stomach virus and was hospitalized forcing the band to cancel their appearance at the Minneapolis leg of the Summer Sanitarium tour. No further dates are expected to be affected.
