Just watched the movie length first part of the documentary last night, anyone else see it?

I could not believe what i was seeing. I expected to sit down and be amazed with effects, and told in a scientific fashion the whats and the hows......
Instead. the show was very amateurish, with animals that came straight from "the wuzzles", and some kind of fascination with squids. bah.....
Some of the ideas these scientists had for animals, were just laugh out loud at the TV ridiculous, and whoever named them should be drug tested for banned substances.

*end of rant*

LoL... yea, I know what you're talking about. I saw it when it first came out... i didn't see it this time around cause it's absolutly not believable. The way the animals look and their names are just... like what you said. The program makes me laugh hehe. :p

What is this show you're talking about? I don't think I've seen it. (ok, I haven't really seen anything other than Monster Garage, American Chopper, and South Park for the last few months)

Its a doco on what the world and animals will look like in 100,000 years and 200,000 years from now.
The story is......all the humans have left earth, for other parts of the universe, and the animals are left to mutate / evolve into what the climates dictate.
After an ice age, a fire age, and massive continental drift, the earth has just one continent, and one sea, and ridiculous animals.

My favourite laugh out loud creature - The Shark-o-path.
Looks like one of our white pointers, but with racing stripes down its sides, that light up like the arrows in UT2003 maps.
Whenever they make an appearence, theres some cheesy heavy metal number to add to the drama

4 thumbs down
