I dont like 2boxes. It greatly magnifies any team unbalance, since there is no opportunity for an individual player to make a difference. The games I've had were decided purely because one team had a slight edge in overall player skill. But since the better players on any team were reduced to the same level as the spammers, they couldn't help their team out enough to balance things out.

w00t = sniper paradise (if you know where to perch)

Stairs = boot-h0's only and spam camping

Halls of Redemption = Thorns 4 squared (that's a bad thing)

Tinman = ESR-h0's wet-dream

There are very few spammy maps that play well. w00t sort of does (but a poor sport sniper can ruin it totally.) Thorns 3 works excedingly well, in my opinion. I can't think of any other decent spam maps off the top of my head.

I don't even consider 2bixboxesfilledwithlava a map.

If something has less to offer than thorns...it's bad.

I'd rather play "andaction", at least there I get shot and not knocked into lava for 30 minutes, and i can maybe jump up to the crossbar and hide for a second.
