Just now, i was checking on CNN.com for the latest news on figure skating Canadian pair, Jamie and David. They got a Second pair of gold medals too!!!! I read they did flawlessly compared to the Russian pair that did win. So I want to see their performance, so does anyone know where I can get a video of this event?

Btw, I read they used the theme from this movie or T.V. show called Love Story, compared to the Russian's ballet music. Is it a movie? And how old is it? I'd like to watch it, because I downloaded the theme and it was a perfect piano piece.

i watched it, i still think that the russian did better, casue that chick was way hotter than that canadian shorty.:D

HOnesly there were really major errors when the Russian were performing, but the moves that have no error, is no doubt better than the canadian pair..

The only reason the Canadian deserve this gold medal, is bacause they hardly made any error during their performance.:D

Not only that, but I read on CNN the spectators said that it was done flawlessly in harmony with the music played, which is more modern than the ballet music used by the Russians. They were all chanting Six! Six! Six! for the Canadian team instead of the Russian. So I'm really curious of not the difficulty of the moves, but the sychronization between the flow of their movements and the flow of the music. The Canadian team, I read, had another music they could have done, which would involve more difficult moves, that would be equal to that of the Russian teams, but they decided to go with the more modern music.

Thats why they lost in the first place, the russian did way more harder moves than teh canadian team, and two went wrong, and if i am right what the canadain team performed was less complicated so which means is easier.!!:D

um.... B.C. did u look at the scores. They lost on the technical difficulty because of the errors to the Canadians... it was their artistic impression that got more points than the Canadians... plz read the news. Therefore, doing it right is actually better than doing it wrong...

Btw, that is also the REASON why I've HAVE BEEN ASKING YOU SO MANY TIMES WHERE CAN I GET A VIDEO OF THIS...

O.k this is what happened phan,
a french judge cheated and gave her
vote to the russian pair because
according to her, she was pressured to.
probably with a bribe or a death threat
the details are not being released by
the I.O.C.But after a flawless performance
by the canadians people figured out somebody
was cheating, kinda like the G.B thing.
Well the canadians received a gold medal at a press conference and the russians were allowed to
keep theirs as well.
It was on Sports Center last night
right before I passed out.
Whatever!!!!!

In cases like this, I always ask myself..

"What would Brian Boytano do?"

When Brian Boitano was in the Olympics,
skating for the gold,
he did two sow-cows and a triple lutz,
while wearing a blindfold!

oh well, i guess that's teh price i pay for not having international T.V. I only watch local ones, which are of moderate quality.

When a "sporting event" requires a panel of judges to vote their opinions to win, it is not a sporting event.
It is a pageant.
