OK...I am going nuts over this. .u know that jack in the box commercial where there are three guys sitting in a boat, one guy snatches a dollar from the water and utters something and there is a long pause followed by everyone laughing?
What the heck does that guy utter? PLEASE TELL ME. No one seems to know.:(

I thought it was Sou Cal..like southern california? Maybe its a foreign language, or maybe it doesn't mean anything and they wanted to confuse the hell out of us so we would be talking about their food chain months after seeing that commercial?

Brian Boitano says "Salchow." A friend tells me it's a figure skating move. I swear, a friend told me. I don't watch that. Seriously.

For further information, check your local library. (Does anyone remember the TV show Voyagers back in the 80's?)

omg...I think he is right. I didn't realize that was Brian Boitano until just now. I must have asked around 50 people, and not one of them gave me that answer. Almost everyone thought it was Sou Cal, southern california. We had no idea why. Dang..nice marketing on their part, it seems everyone remembers that commercial.

I thought it was pretty damn funny that they got a figure skater and a drugged up football has-been in a boat together parodying a 1-800-Collect commercial. Personally, I think most of those Jack-in-the-Box commercials are genius. They've got great branding with Jack, and in an era of whacky advertising, Jack's one of the few that when the commercial is said in done, you can remember what the hell they were trying to sell.

Plus, you can't beat 2 tacos for 99 cents.

yeah my buddy asked me the same thing a few weeks ago and it was not until I REALLY watch the thing that I noticed the it was Brian Boitano and he even has skates on in the boat.. I think he might of been the first to land a triple sowcow or whatever that trick is call in comp but I'm not sure..

not a real big skating fan unless there is a puck and some is getting hit :)

I agree with Recon.. LAME marketing.. Heck when I first saw the add I thought LT is in the boat to row out and smuggle/buy some drugs. hehe..
