It's a beautiful game, for sure. My only real grip was the weapon switching scheme. "Just scroll through you weapons 'till you find the one you want" .. huh? Other than that, ya, lots of fun, and very pretty too. Oh ya.. my other gripe was the "dodge" was just lame. But it's still pretty.

Its a pity you cant swap between editors though, theres no damn export on the U2 editor.

Anyway, back to the game, without spoiling it, how about the shock ending. Freaky.
And the characters on your crew are pretty funny too.
Just a top game all over, IMO.

I'm liking U2 so far. I think the environments have been unique and immersive.

However, the actual action part of the game isn't very hard, nor all that fun. It feels like your carrying a load of bricks on your back. John Dalton isn't very maneuverable, so it just kind of an excercise of picking the right weapon before you engage the enemy.

Don't they know everyone hates jumping puzzles??

It's so linear it feels like a rail shooter at times.

How do you dodge?? I haven't figured out how to do that yet??

Same as in UT freshie. Doucle tap a movement key. The latest Unreal2 patch fixed the dodge...it's no longer so much like a jump.

Tried that, I've used the utility to get the latest patch. Wonder what I was doing wrong.

Whoa, hold on: you have to cycle through the weapons to choose them? You mean you can't use the number keys along the top to swap between them?

Man that could be a bit of a hassle for me... :(

Just finished the game. Was quite fun. Environments are fantastic. The action was OK, nothing great.

Defensive missions were usually quite annoying. Especially the one on Janus.

I liked the sniper mission.

Overall... thumbs up.

One of the most boring, unimaginative games I have ever played.
Like Squirrel, I quit after only a few hours. Too many gaming cliche's for me.

But, it looked OK. If all you are into is graphics, the game is OK.

yeah its abit better w/ patch the "doging" :) now i know why the player walk's so slow :D its to finish the game in 10+h instead of 5houres hehe well take out the loading time :D
