Trance, Drum & Bass, Classical (pre-modern), Folk, Rock, Rock and more Rock: fusion, mostly alternative, even some pop but not much.

I can tolerate country/western in short durations only, like when a paycheck is at stake or visiting relatives. :D

That Trios album of Wassermans is pretty cool, it's the one where he got together with a bunch of other bassists (including Claypool) on various songs. He did "Home Is Where You Get Across" with Claypool.

I've not gotten the latest Les Claypool "experiment" with his Flying Frog Brigade (Purple Onion). I wish he'd go back to some of his earlier stuff, like early primus, sausage, or even the Highball with the Devil stuff...

The Frog Brigade did a great cover of Pink Floyd's "Animals" album.

I've got that one, and yes, it is great. Only Claypool would be brave enough to cover a WHOLE Floyd album.

Modern Country can lick mein arse. But, the old blues infused country(Waylon, Johnny Cash, Merle Hagard), as well as traditional bluegrass is the bomb.

ok, 2 things:

1) Its Hip-Hop, not Rap. Only white people who don't listen to it call it Rap. Get out of the '80s!

2) Where the hell is Jazz??? Not just old school Davis or Coltrane (sp?) which is amazing, but new acid jazz/rave/lounge like St-Germain, DePhazz or Rammasutra.

I love Johnny & Coltrane, Black, but I put it under Classical so I would'nt have a 10 choice poll.

Sorry if I offend you.

So true. The statement "I don't like rap music", is usually followed up with the statement "They aren't even singing."

Silly white people.

You take my use of the term "white people" too uninronically (hears SKTLKFC laughing).

Don't make me elaborate on implied expectations. Cause I've done it before. And I'll do it again. Cause I'm crazy mutha****a who don't give a ****.

*bump*

I like ska, like Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, and Voodoo Glow Skulls.

I also like rock-ish, like 311, Queens of the Stone Age, and such.

I also like Hip Hop. Jurassic 5 I'm really getting into these days.
