This map would run very nicely on UP.
I think its one of my best CTF maps yet.
(well that and CTF-LS_Saltysemen..he he)

How about adding it (or both) to the map vote.

It has been on #4 I think. Posted earlier that you should be slapped for inserting the ESR, hidden or not. And not well hidden at that. :p

ESR can be a huge problem online, especially if someone accurate gets a hold of it. They can almost literally walk into a base, grab the flag and walk out without having to worry about resistance...they just shock em.

But otherwise, great map, played an awesome game on S4 on it! I already told you that one, but a 6-5 overtime loss is a great game in my books, especially after a hard fought battle.

Well there you go, didnt know the ESR was such a problem online.
So would you suggest that it be hidden in maps, or hard to reach, not just out in the open.

I like the gun, so i place it, and the flakk and rockets all over the place (my favs) but if its such an issue, my next maps will have it located differently.

Though I don't mind the ESR (and I sux with it anyway :p) enough people do, so I'd say if you're going to include it to do at least one of the following..

a)hide it really well. Like to the point that it's a mapper-only secret that nobody will stumble across ever. Possibly if you have a secret room, it's in a secret passage off of a secret passage in that room or something. LoL.

b)Make it very very dangerous to grab. Perhaps there are buttons all around the map people can step on to electrocute a huge area around (or long enclosed path to) the ESR.

c)Tweak it and limit the ammo... o.O

are we talking about the normal Shock rifle or the insta gib one.
I've only ever placed one uinsta gib rifle in a level
(DM-LS_Doom_ArenA).

Or is it an issue with all shock rifles?

I agree with Kindness completely. If I wanted to play instagib I'd play on an IG server, not the Playground. Relics are bad enough but when you mix Instacrap Rifles with normal weapons... the game goes to $hit unless your one of the lucky & cheesey ones who happens to know where the damn thing is hidden. Many players won't even vote for any map that has an IG Rifle on it.
In short... Instagib sux.

The normal shock rifle is fine to place on any map, just don't hide the damn thing like some mappers do. Hiding it puts those of us that play ladder maps most of the time at a major disadvantage. Also, don't be stingy with Minigun or Rocket ammo. Those two weapons go through ammo faster than any of the others and it sux when you can never get any ammo for them.

The normal shock rifle is fine ... it's my favorite weapon. I like the double placement of the shock rifle in each base, and, one in the center in CTF-LS_Eles.

The ESR is the Instagib weapon. Hit = Immediate Death. I don't like the placement of the ESR behind the fans on either side of the center of CTF-LS_Eles. Kind of ruins what otherwise is a fun map.

I apologize, i should have tested this better before i uploaded it, as i didnt even know it was in there......

New V2 is exactly the same but with the guns removed.

What's rong whit the SSR????. Whit good player's it is not a problem at all. Some of my friend's play it on there server and love it. So what is that thing about the SSR????. To good for some!?!?.

I can see why people dont like it, and if they want to play with it, theres the "instagib" mutator to use.

Demo place? The map is currently in rotation on Server 4 if that's what you're asking..:scratch:

No a guy ask me to fix is bots in a UT2 maps. But he didn't whant anybody to see it yet. And he toll me to go where de demo is?. Anyway thanks alot. But if he whant me to fix it. Then he will have to email it to me. Thanks again.
